Hello there,

I am a writer, which means I spend most of my days fussing with words, the result of which you can find here, as stories, poems, and musings.

Please, make yourself at home.

WORKS IN PROGRESS

I'm proud to say that I have earned my Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from Arcadia University. As part of my thesis, I worked on a novel. My novel is still in the revision stages, but I'm hoping to dive into the query trenches by the end of the year to find an agent.

Perdida tells the story of Lena, a Colombian American who battles her uncle's obsession with a non existent town he insists is real. This novel is reminiscent of Gabriel García Márquez and is perfect for readers who love Isabel Allende's Violeta and Silvia Moreno-Garcia's Gods of Jade and Shadow.

I am also working on several short stories of the fantasy and magical realism genres. These stories I aim to have published in literary journals. This is something that takes time, but I have plenty to write and revise as I wait.

Outside of novel and short story writing, I have started a new D&D campaign after the end of  the 2+ year campaign, Sigils & Scales. The new campaign, Mythos of Maanosa, is taking place in a world that I created for a trilogy which I am to return to now that I have graduated. It's a story that needs major reworking, but I'm eager to take on the challenge.
